In the past 10 years, Chengdu has changed a lot in terms of economic development. I hope that Ecuador can establish ties with Chengdu in various fields like business and trade. The high-tech industries in Ecuador are just in their beginning stages and we should learn more from Chengdu.

German technologies could help Chengdu to innovate its industries. For example, permeable concrete technology could be used to construct the sponge city program in Chengdu. I am also bringing a series of new products from our company and hope that they can play a part in promoting the development of western regions in China.

More than 20 companies from Hungary have taken part in this year's event. Hungary and Chengdu have some similarity in industrial structure. We have good advantages in information technology, autos, agriculture and green industries. We hope to cooperate more with Chengdu in such areas.
