BEIJING -- A fugitive wanted for graft under an Interpol "red notice" returned from Canada to China and turned himself in on Monday, according to the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
Li Shiqiao, born in 1942, was the former general manager of a real estate company in Ningbo city in East China's Zhejiang province, before he was investigated for graft. He fled to Canada in April 2009.
Li was ranked 75th among the top 100 Chinese fugitives released in an Interpol "red notice" in April 2015 and was the 40th to return.
