Li Hongzhong elected Tianjin Party chief

TIANJIN -- Li Hongzhong was elected secretary of Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Friday.
Li was elected to the post at the first plenary session of the 11th CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee.
Li, born in August 1956 in east China's Shandong Province, has been Party chief of Tianjin since September 2016.
