National day of preventing disabilities set on August 25

The State Council released a notice on Monday marking Aug 25 as the annual national day of preventing disabilities.
The central government approved the China Disabled Persons' Federation application after it asked for permission to set a particular day aside. All detailed work will be done by the federation after consultation with relevant departments, the notice said.
