KUNMING - Three people have been detained in connection with a drug-trafficking case in southwest China's Yunnan Province, police said Friday.
Police with the Public Security Bureau of Changning County said that they confiscated about 68 kg of drugs hidden in the water tank of a truck.
On Monday, the police were tipped off about a man planning to transport drugs from Myanmar for sale in east China's Jiangxi Province. They intercepted the truck carrying the drugs the following day, and detained two suspects on the spot. Another suspect was caught at the Kunming airport.
The suspects have confessed to drug trafficking.
