State Council appoints, removes officials

BEIJING -- The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of two senior officials Friday.
Liu Jieyi was appointed deputy head of the State Council's Taiwan Affairs Office and Zhang Ming was removed from the post of Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs.
