Southern China's Hainan province is to expand its international flight routes to 100 in the next two to three years.
Since the beginning of 2017, there have been 55 international flight routes connecting Hainan with India, Mongolia, Russia and many Southeast Asian countries.
By increasing the subsidies to civil aviation, Hainan encourages civil aviation and tourism enterprises to explore and expand international air routes, driving the growth of inbound visitors.
According to statistics, Hainan received 790,000 inbound tourist arrivals in the first three quarters of 2017, with a year-on-year growth of 60 percent.
