Major drug gang busted in Hebei

The Public Security Bureau in Xingtai, Hebei province, announced the capture of a major drug gang on Jan 4, China News Service reported.
Since the police first caught a suspect from the gang in October, they have followed clues to locations as far as Chongqing and Hubei province, which are hundreds of kilometers away from Hebei.
So far, the police have caught 11 drug dealers and seized 2.4 kilograms of crystal meth, 2,000 doses of magu (a Thai word for an illegal stimulant made by combining methamphetamine and caffeine), 15 knives, eight guns and 400 bullets.
The case is now undergoing further investigation.
