French president arrives in Beijing

French President Emmanuel Macron arrived at Beijing International Airport on Monday afternoon after wrapping up his trip to Xi’an, the first leg of his state visit to China.
Senior Chinese officials, including Foreign Minister Wang Yi, greeted Macron and his wife at the airport.
During his first state visit in China, from Monday to Wednesday, Macron will meet with President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang and top legislator Zhang Dejiang.
