TV reality show on Chinese bands hits right note

The festivals, which were once popular among diehards and non-pop musicians, have seen a rapid growth in popularity over the past decade.
"And I've discovered that most of these musicians are really serious about their work. Their devotion and enthusiasm deserves a wider audience. So, we hope to provide them a platform," says Chen.
The show has been filmed in a documentary-like manner to showcase how the bands live and work, as well as how their music is influenced by local culture or ethnic traditions.
