Belarus to send 28 athletes to PyeongChang Winter Olympics

MINSK - Twenty-eight Belarusian athletes will take part in the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, chief of the Belarusian delegation Alexander Baraulya announced here on Wednesday.
Belarusian athletes will compete in six events during the PyeongChang Games, the official said.
The most famous athlete in the Belarusian team is Darya Domracheva, who won three biathlon golds at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and a bronze at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.
Belarus places its medal hopes on biathlon and aerial skiing.
At the 2014 Sochi Olympics, Belarus won five gold medals from biathlete Darya Domracheva (three), aerialists Anton Kushnir and Alla Tsuper, and also one bronze medal by biathlete Nadezhda Skardino.
