Tomb Raider
A reboot of the Tomb Raider film franchise, the new action-adventure film Tomb Raider will open across the Chinese mainland and North America simultaneously on March 16.
Directed by Norwegian filmmaker Roar Uthaug, the movie casts Swedish actress Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft, one of the greatest video game characters.
For Chinese fans, they will be excited to see Hong Kong star Daniel Wu playing a major character. The film is based on the first expedition by Croft, who is set to be 21 years old in the story. To investigate her father's mysterious death, Croft lands on a remote island and enters into an ancient tomb.
