Dalian Yifang draw 2-2 with Chongqing in CSL

JINAN - Despite of Gaitan's excellent job, Dalian Yifang failed to keep their 2-0 lead, and drew 2-2 with Chongqing in the Chinese Super League (CSL) Saturday night.
Nicolas Fabian Gaitan of Dalian was the clutch for Dalian's 2-0 lead. Under-23 player Wang Jin netted a goal in the 18th minute on Gaitan's assist. Dalian made it 2-0 in the 56th minute with Gaitan's left-footd drive.
After Zhu Xiaogang was sent off with a red card in 58 minutes into the game, Dalian failed to keep the lead. Chongqing changed the balance of power on court in their favour. Brazilian forward Fernando Henrique and Cao Dong netted two goals for Chongqing to a 2-2 tie.
With a three-game losing streak of the new CSL season, Dalian Yifang named former Real Madrid boss Bernd Schuster as head coach. Schuster has led the team with two ties so far, in which they all took the lead.
"It was a good first half, but the red card changed the balance of power. I have to say our team head toward a right direction," said Schuster.
Elsewhere, Hebei China Fortune had their first win on home court by defeating Changchun Yatai 2-1.
