This year's online quiz has had over 25,000 people participate in the four days since its launch on July 12.
Customs authorities across China inspected food imports worth $64 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12.9 percent. About $4.8 million worth of inspected food was refused entry into China, including drinks, cakes, biscuits and sugary products, according to data released at the publicity week launch ceremony on the same day.
The campaign was supervised by the country's food authority and organized by China Economic Net, Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology and Masterkong Holding Limited.
