Yinxiang Biji, a China-based information organization application, will ramp up efforts to develop new products and add new features to its app that satisfy the needs of Chinese consumers, after it was spun off from Silicon Valley-based enterprise Evernote as an independent entity.

Tang Yi, CEO of Yinxiang Biji, said the company now operates as a separate service and has established its own R&D team. Based on absorbing the Evernote source code, it will develop its own products targeting Chinese users.

Yinxiang Biji has transferred its data to Tencent Cloud. It also inked a strategic partnership with Tencent's social networking group to conduct in-depth cooperation in infrastructure, consumer services, enterprise services and artificial intelligence.

"We are seeking cooperation with the country's high-value content platform to provide better services for our users, and paying attention to communication with users' evaluation in products' design and improvement."

The company has launched Elephant College to provide online lessons, with an aim to extend services for paid content.

"In the future, we will cooperate with more domestic enterprises in the creation, production, arrangement, sharing and dissemination of high-value information to expand application scenarios," Tang added.

Yinxiang Biji says its Chinese users have now increased to tens of millions, creating a total of more than 1 billion notes.
