US stocks extend losses

NEW YORK, Oct. 11 - US stocks extended losses in volatile trading on Thursday, a day after three major indices plunged more than 3 percent amid fears for rising rates and a sell-off in tech shares.
The Dow fell 2.13 percent to 25,052.83, and the S&P 500 was down 2.06 percent to 2,728.37, while the Nasdaq was down 1.25 percent to 7,329.06.
