New York-based painter Andrew Sendor's show Saturday's Descent at the Beijing Art Now gallery features a group of fictional figures created by the artist. The characters are painted in such detail that viewers may think that they live in the real world. His Saturday's Descent covers a young woman's memories and relationships. It is a short and concise narrative without a beginning or an end-something the artist usually does with his creations. His first show in Asia, it runs through Dec 3.
