Liaoning extend winning streak to 18 games
BEIJING -- Guo Ailun and Brandon Bass combined for 58 points to carry Liaoning over Zhejiang 123-95 in the 29th round of the 2018-2019 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Sunday night.
It took Liaoning only two quarters to secure the victory. Liaoning earned 62 points after the two quarters, while Zhejiang only got 42. With this win, Liaoning extended its winning streak to 18 games, which has been the longest in team's history.
Four Liaoning players scored double-digit points. Guo Ailun finished with a game-high 33 points. Brandon Bass added 25 points and 12 rebounds. Zhejiang's team-high points was from Liu Zeyi, which was only 16 points, and the others didn't help.
Malcolm Delaney had 30 points and 5 rebounds as Guangdong beat Jiangsu 142-105. Guangdong jumped to 37-27 ahead in the first quarter and never looked dangerous from then on.
Elsewhere, Tongxi lost to Guangzhou 90-84, Jilin beat Aolong 110-97, Qingdao defeated Bayi 98-91, Shandong edged off Fujian 117-89, and Beijing beat Shanghai 104-92.
