The Dress Contest Festival was held in Tuesday, the 15th day of the first lunar month of the Pig's Year, in Zhiyi village, Zhonghe town, Yongren vounty, Chuxiong Yi autonomous prefecture, Yunnan province.
The festival is held on 15th day of the first lunar month of each year. On this day, Yi people in the village dress up in new clothes and invite friends to the central square of the village to participate in various activities.
The custom has been inherited for more than 1,300 years, known as the ancient "fashion show ".
