President Xi Jinping reiterated China will further open up its market to the world and welcome new technologies, products and services to be imported to China. I think this will create more opportunities for bilateral cooperation between Russia and China, which should include not only trade in goods, but also trade in services, joint research and production of new products, as well as joint investment in third countries. These will serve as witness to our comprehensive strategic partnership.
Shanghai is a very modern and diverse city. I feel the city has become more open every year. The development of the free trade zone in Shanghai has paved the way for more international cooperation. The Russian Export Center has set up an office here in Shanghai with a hall displaying Russian foods. Shanghai is a gateway for us to tap the Chinese market.
