School teacher Gan Xiaoyan is a native of Zhonghe village, Dongjin town in Guigang, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
She is known as a bold adventurer. When she came up with the idea to go back to her village, she started her business in agriculture, planting potatoes and pitaya starting in 2007.
This video tells her story; how she becomes an internet celebrity selling her innovative pitaya noodles through social media, and helped her villagers shake off poverty and get rich.
