Colombian midfielder Andrade joins Atletico Nacional from Mexico's Atlas
MEDELLIN - Midfielder Andres Andrade will return to his native Colombia in 2020 after signing a contract with two-time Copa Libertadores champions Atletico Nacional.
The 30-year-old agreed to terms after parting ways with Mexican club Atlas. A statement on Nacional's official website confirmed the move but did not provide details of the deal.
"His ability, experience, ability to help his teammates and score goals will be essential in the Copa Sudamericana and Colombian league in 2020," the statement said.
Andrade made 37 appearances for Altas after joining the club from their Liga MX rivals Leon in June 2018.
His 10-year professional career has also included spells at America de Cali, Atletico Huila, Deportes Tolima, America and Jaguares de Chiapas.
