Kjaer joins AC Milan on loan

ROME - AC Milan has signed Danish defender Simon Kjaer on a six-month loan deal with an option to buy, the Italian Serie A giant confirmed on Monday.
Kjaer, who will turn 31 in March, joined Atalanta on loan from Sevilla last September, but the former AS Roma stopper failed to impose himself at Bergamo, and just managed six appearances in all competitions.
According to AC Milan, Kjaer has terminated his contract with Atalanta and joined Rossoneri instead.
