China Energy Investment Corp has donated 62 million yuan ($8.9 million) so far to Hubei province to help China with its continued fight against the novel coronavirus pneumonia.

Hubei-based enterprises under the corporation have also established an epidemic monitoring network, strengthening measures for epidemic prevention and control while deploying power and heating supplies to ensure safe production and operation.

The National Energy Administration has earlier guided central State-owned coal producers including China Energy Investment Corp and China Coal Group, to completely resume production. Power grid suppliers are also asked to ensure a stable power supply nationwide, especially in Hubei province.
