As the ongoing novel coronavirus claims first fatality in the UK, schools and universities in Italy have shut as Europe steps up the battle against COVID-19 outbreak.
In the Canary Islands, a Tenerife hotel ended their 10-day lockdown on Thursday. The UK moved to the "delay" phase of their four-strand plan to fight the outbreak.
