Wuxi looks for short video works on city development

Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province is looking for excellent short videos able to showcase the city's development into a moderately prosperous society, officials announced on May 15.
They said the event, in the form of a competition with prizes, aims to record Wuxi's transformation into a moderately prosperous society in all respects through the lenses of cameras.
All works which showcase the city's cheerful daily life, economic and industrial development, stories of overcoming poverty in rural areas, achievements in water treatment and environmental protection are welcomed.
Works will be accepted from May 15 to Sept 10. Participants are asked to limit the videos to three minutes and send their works to the official email address [email protected], or publish their works on Douyin, one of the country's most popular short-video platforms, with a special hashtag .
A website making use of new-media technologies such as videos and posters was launched as well, sponsored by the Wuxi Cyberspace Affairs Commission.
