Pork prices fall by 9.1% on a weekly basis
Pork prices continued to decline in China amid higher supplies and softer demand, official data showed. From May 11 to 15, the average pork price index in 16 provincial-level regions tracked by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs stood at 36.35 yuan ($5.1) per kg, down 9.1 percent on a weekly basis. The price retreat was a result of the multipronged measures adopted by the government to boost supply, including releasing frozen pork reserves and expanding imports.
CMG achieves major tech breakthrough

During the"5G+4K/8K+AI" media innovation promotion week, CMG technicians successfully completed real-time transmission of 8K signals, and edited the 8K signal rapidly so that audiences could enjoy videos that displayed early summer views. Technicians also showcased video editing processes with the use of artificial intelligence. The AI technology was used in face detection, motion detection and many other areas.
