Lam: HKSAR govt fully supports security law

Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor said the local government fully supports the central government's efforts in national security legislation and will fulfill the SAR's constitutional responsibility to ensure the effective implementation of the relevant law in Hong Kong.
She made the statement on Saturday after the country's top legislature had reviewed a draft law on safeguarding national security for the city.
