Five blockbusters, including My People, My Country,?Ne Zha?and The Wandering Earth, have been nominated in the best film category at the 35th Hundred Flowers Awards, a top film honor conferred every two years based on public voting results.

The list of nominees was announced at a press conference in Beijing on Saturday. Nominations in other categories, such as best actor, actress, and director, have also been unveiled.

The China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival this year will be held in Zhengzhou, central China's Henan province from Sept. 24 to 26. A total of 101 audiences will vote to select the winner on Sept. 26 at the award ceremony.

Movie-related exhibitions and forums will be held during the festival.
