5.0-magnitude quake hits waters off eastern Taiwan: CENC

BEIJING -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted the waters off eastern Taiwan at 12:37 pm Beijing Time on Wednesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter was monitored at 24.85 degrees north latitude and 122.14 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 116 km, the center said.
