Dybala to miss Argentina's World Cup qualifier against Bolivia
BUENOS AIRES -- Juventus forward Paulo Dybala will miss Argentina's World Cup qualifier against Bolivia after failing to recover from a stomach problem, the Argentinian Football Association (AFA) said on Sunday.
Dybala missed the team's 1-0 win over Ecuador on Thursday but was expected to be fit in time for the clash at Hernando Siles stadium in La Paz on Tuesday.
But in a statement, the AFA said the 26-year-old did not travel with the Albiceleste squad to Bolivia and would continue to receive treatment in Buenos Aires.
Meanwhile, the AFA said Sevilla midfielder Marcos Acuna continued to train separately from the main squad after suffering a hamstring injury against Ecuador at La Bombonera.
Argentina have won in La Paz only once in the past 25 years, when they overcame La Verde 2-1 in March 2005.
