Chinese mainland reports 11 new imported COVID-19 cases

BEIJING -- The Chinese mainland reported 11 new imported COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 3,153, the National Health Commission said Wednesday.
Of the new imported cases, three each were reported in Guangdong and Sichuan, two each in Shanghai and Henan, and one in Fujian, the commission said in its daily report.
Among all the imported cases, 2,918 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery while 235 remained hospitalized, the commission said.
No deaths had been reported from the imported cases.
