Greenland Holdings Group to build 10 new exhibition centers in China

Greenland Holdings Group announced on Friday during the ongoing China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai that it will be building 10 new exhibition centers across China.
The 10 exhibition centers, which will be located in cities such as Xuzhou, Jiangsu province, Lanzhou, Gansu province and Harbin, Heilongjiang province, will be open within the next three years, said Zhang Yuliang, chairman of the group.
Among these centers will be a massive 510,000-square-meter facility in Jinan, Shandong province that would be the largest in China.
The announcement was made during the third China Convention & Exhibition Industry International Trade Forum that was held during the CIIE.
Zhang said that holding the CIIE amid the pandemic has demonstrated China's determination to open its doors wider to the world, and Greenland will contribute to this cause by allocating more resources to the development of the exhibition industry so as to facilitate more business exchanges between China and the world.
