GRATITUDE SHOWN

Zhang Guimei, a rural teacher who was honored as a "model of the times" for her great efforts to help poor girl students, was surprised by the warm recognition and gratitude shown by the cabin crew on a flight with China Southern Airlines Beijing Branch on Dec 5. Zhang received a letter of appreciation for her work from the crew, who learn about her from media reports.

CHRISTMAS LIGHT

InterContinental Dalian in Northeast China's Liaoning province turned on its Christmas lights in late November, immersing the hotel in a festive atmosphere and ushering in its festival season. At the ceremony, the hotel donated winter clothes to local primary students from poor families.
