Lomborg: Poor shouldn't pay for the rich's climate bill

Climate change is an increasingly important global issue. Bjorn Lomborg, president of the Copenhagen Consensus, has pointed out marked unfairness in global climate governance: rich countries set lofty carbon goals and policies to promote green energy, including levying carbon tariffs that can bring them profits, but developing countries have to pay for the rich's benefits.
Thus, the right way to fix climate is through innovation, increasing investment in the research and development of green energy, Lomborg said. Developing countries should insist rich countries stop their unjust policies and return the world to green energy R&D.
