He also noted as the Greater Bay Area is a key development pillar of the country, Hong Kong has introduced new measures to promote the development of Hong Kong and the GBA.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council, together with the Hong Kong SAR government and the Guangdong provincial government, launched GoGBA, the Greater Bay Area's Economic and Trade link, in June.

It provides one-stop services to businesses and enterprises, enabling them to get information on doing business and living in the GBA more conveniently, the director said.

"At the same time, we also set up the Greater Bay Area service center in Shenzhen to provide enterprises a convenient channel to get the latest market information," he said.

"We also set up service stations in different cities of the Greater Bay Area, including Nansha, Zhongshan and Dongguan, to provide more convenience for enterprises in different cities and let the enterprises know more about the development and cooperation between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area."

Chan noted the scale of this year's CIFTIS is much larger than previous years, with displays and demonstrations in the National Convention Center and Shougang Industrial Park, which attracted many enterprises and regions.
