The second challenge was presenting the poems visually.
"The pictures need to have Chinese characteristics. They need to display both the wonderful natural views of our motherland and its modernization," Long said, giving the example of grain buds, or xiaoman.
The second solar term — representing summer — Long linked with xiaokang, a tearm refering "moderately prosperous", and interpreting it as the satisfaction of small wishes in everyday life.
The pictures used to represent xiaoman were of a father celebrating a birthday with his child.
A poem went with each of the 24 solar terms in the video. However, for sake of rhythm, the last 10 solar terms were depicted in pictures alone.
"It is a great chance to present Chinese culture to the world. I feel proud to be part of the process," Long said.
