Readers demand explanation for US biolabs

Victoria Nuland, the under-secretary of state for political affairs, was asked in congressional hearing if Ukraine has bioweapons labs and she admitted that Ukraine has "bio research facilities". She said it is a grave concern if the Russians get access to "those research materials". The question is: why would the US be so concerned? What have they been researching on? Why did they cover up and transfer abroad the labs' biomaterial? We need an explanation for all these.
