Shanghai reports one community infection case

Shanghai reported one asymptomatic infection outside the quarantined population on Sunday, the city's Health Commission said at a news briefing.
The asymptomatic case was a 64-year-old woman who lived in Liantang township of Qingpu district, who tested positive on Saturday.
By 4 pm Sunday, 931 close contacts and 1,049 secondary contacts of the case had been identified and quarantined, with 1,242 of them testing negative so far.
Zhengxia village where the patient lived was classified as a high-risk zone.
Two schools near the village will switch to online classes on Monday, while the district will enhance management of epidemic prevention in all 172 schools in the district, said Zhang Yan, deputy governor of Qingpu.
With the National Day holiday approaching, local residents are encouraged to stay put and avoid inter-provincial travel to curb the spread, the commission said.
