Young Chinese train conductor sweated on China-Laos Railway
In this series of A Look at Young Party Members, dedicated to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we travel throughout the country to meet young CPC members who are making a difference in several fields. In this episode we look at a young woman working on the China-Laos Railway who was on hand to see it unfold and go into operation.
Wang Mengping, a train conductor with China Railway Kunming Group, has shown great devotion to her work and formed a close friendship with the Lao people. Wang, responsible for serving passengers and training staff, has dedicated herself to building a bridge between China and Laos.
"On this train you can feel the intermingling of cultures and see the beauty of the world as one," she said.
As young Party members "we should carry forward the spirit of fighting, hard work and commitment in our daily work. In addition, we should complete our work with a high sense of responsibility and mission."
