China's leading electric carmaker BYD is showcasing five new energy vehicle models and core technologies at the Japan Mobility Show 2023, formerly known as the Tokyo Motor Show, becoming the first Chinese automaker to participate in the history of the event.

A total of 475 enterprises are participating until Nov 5 at Tokyo Big Sight, the largest international exhibition center in Japan. BYD is showcasing BYD SEAL, a pure electric sporty sedan, BYD ATTO 3, a compact electric crossover sport utility vehicle, and the electric hatchback BYD Dolphin, among others.
