US food company ambitious on Chinese market

Global food giant General Mills, known for its household brands including H?agen-Dazs and Wanchai Ferry, is eyeing market space in other parts of China, rather than megacities like Beijing and Shanghai.
Peter Everett, vice president in charge of international marketing, discussed the matter during an interview on Monday, the second day of the five-day China International Import Expo in Shanghai.
He also said that Chinese consumers recognize good quality and reward companies that provide such products.
