An art exhibition by Chinese and Italian painters took place in Bologna, Italy, over the weekend. The exhibition is called "High Mountain and Flowing Water".

The exhibition was jointly hosted by the information office of the Guangdong provincial government and Guangdong provincial department of culture and tourism. It showcased 36 selected works by renowned Chinese artists and more than 20 other pieces of artwork by three prominent Italian artists, featuring a diverse array of subjects with various themes and styles and in different forms.

The exhibits demonstrate the artists' exploration of progressive artistic directions based on their respective cultural traditions and the context of contemporary life, displaying the distinct aesthetic interests and cultural perspectives of the Eastern and Western contemporary arts.
