Centenarian music teacher's lifelong devotion to music education

Since becoming a music teacher in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region in 1947, 100-year-old Su Mingqing has devoted all her life to music.
During her teaching career from 1947 to 1991, Su taught at Guisui Middle School, Suiyuan Provincial Women's Normal School, and Hohhot Normal School, nurturing numerous students.
Even after retirement, she did not give up on music education.
In 1991, she united teachers who shared a love for singing and established the Hohhot Teachers' Chorus. The chorus has performed on stages within and outside the region for nearly thirty years.
