Xi congratulates Maia Sandu on reelection as Moldovan president

BEIJING -- President Xi Jinping on Wednesday sent a congratulatory message to Maia Sandu on her reelection as president of Moldova.
Noting that China and Moldova are traditional friendly partners, Xi said that in recent years, bilateral relations have maintained steady development and the Belt and Road cooperation has made smooth progress.
Xi said that he attaches great importance to the development of China-Moldova relations, and stands ready to work with Sandu to steer bilateral relations toward steady and long-term growth.
