Echoing Luan, Patrick Nijs, former Belgian ambassador to China and co-founder of Europe China Joint Innovation Center (Beijing-Brussels), expected the forum to further boost global collaboration.
"With the assistance of experts and scholars, it is hoped that the Wudadao Forum will be developed into a Tianjin-branded forum for intellectual exchange and cultural integration, serving to advance the construction of a community of shared future for mankind," Luan said.
