China's airship with high expectations

China's domestically developed AS700 civil manned airship, the largest developed by the country, is expected to enter commercial operation this year. The craft is designed for tourism, personnel and cargo transport, mineral prospecting, marine surveillance, police patrols and emergency rescue.
