"RCEP is more than just a free trade agreement. It is also a strategic platform for the authorities of its participating countries to exchange views and jointly address emerging policy challenges," said Taufiq Arfi Wargadalam, executive director of the RCEP Support Unit, at the 2025 RCEP Media & Think Tank Forum on May 25. To fully realize RCEP's benefits, he encourages the authorities, media and think tanks to help businesses and investors understand and utilize the agreement.
