Dragon boat competition takes place in Guangzhou

Dragon boat teams from nearly 40 local villages and communities gathered in a section of the Shiliugang River in Haizhu district of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, on Saturday, creating a traditional dragon boat greeting and racing cerebration on the Duanwu Festival.
The dragon boats ran through the intricate waterways of the river, with participants stopping at the river pier to enjoy cakes and tea, staging a heartwarming greeting feast on the festival.
