On the grasslands in Longli, Guizhou province, sleek, capsule-style bed-and-breakfasts offer guests a stellar stargazing experience at more than 1,200 meters above sea level.
The 26 newly built pods feature futuristic designs that make guests feel as if they have landed at an alien outpost.
Every spring and summer, when the grasslands turn green, travelers flock to set up camps and marvel at the tiered mountains that stretch into the horizon.
